| Welcome to Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 39th Infantry Living History Group. "The Fighting Falcons" is a new WWII re-enactment unit being established in Central Florida. Our goal is to faithfully represent and honor the men of the 39th RCT/9th Infantry Division during one of the world's darkest chapters- World War II. The 39th Infantry fought in every major campaign in the Mediterranean and European Theater of Operations in WWII. They were the first American combat unit to set foot on foreign soil when the Allies landed in North Africa, and continued the fight into Germany. 1st Bn, 39th RCT.
